“Fe:rker” combines Fe, the symbol for iron, with -rker from “worker.”

The name reflects the rugged place where our brand began.

Our first workspace was a raw, heavy, craft-driven atelier in Seongsu-dong, far from the polished neighborhood it is today. There, we spent our days repairing tough boots, using solid steel tools built for demanding work.

Working with these heavy machines—like the fully steel Landis sewing machine—taught us something essential: strength and precision can coexist.

Through years of cutting, stitching, and rebuilding footwear, we learned what true durability means. And from that experience, a quiet desire grew: to create well-made sandals of our own.

That idea became Fe:rker—

a brand shaped by iron tools, craftsmanship, and the belief that toughness and delicacy can live together.

For Fe:rker, “making shoes” is more than a simple act.

It means crafting with intention, with care, and with the belief that a pair of shoes should be meaningful—and built to last.

Through repairing boots, we learned what true durability feels like.

Through customizing sneakers, we studied the complex structures and diverse forms that shape footwear.

And now, after all those experiences, we channel our pride as true makers into every product we create.
